Malpe Karnataka

  • Tebma is setting up an integrated shipyard at Malpe in Karnataka. Production of first vessel is expected to be started by Jan 2008.
  • The slipway complex will consist of 14 bays with capacity to build 10 offshore vessels per year and repair upto 4 vessels at a time.
  • This Yard of 45,000 square metre of water front land is been acquired from the Government of Karnataka on a 30 year lease. Apart from this a 2.5 Acres for storage of inputs and 5.5 Acres of land for steel preparation & block construction with water from facility has been acquired as a support infrastructure to the slipway complex.
