Ship building needs specialized skills in structural fabrication and erection, installation of specialized equipment and complex control and monitoring systems, and out fitting high class interiors. Tebma has conscientiously developed highly skilled and loyal contractors for various disciplines of ship building. In addition a core team of highly specialized engineers have also been carefully nurtured. To meet the expanding operations, a regular and highly successful program of induction and on the job training of fresh as well as experienced engineers with skills in parallel disciplines in other industries, is firmly in place. Thus Tebma has at present a large pool of about 1500 workers and 250 supervisory and managerial staff. Tebma has thus been able to raise to the challenges of the Industry in absorbing technological changes and advances and enter into new avenues of business, quickly.
