TEBMA DELIVERS 2 SURVEY LAUNCHES IN FEBRUARY, 2009
Two Survey Launches were delivered by Tebma in Visakhapatnam Port Trust on February 4, 2009. Representatives from DCI and the Indian Register of Shipping (IRS) Classification Surveyors participated in the launch. These survey launches will be towed to Visakhapatnam and the tests and trials will be conducted before delivery.
The survey launches have been fitted with the following survey equipments.
1. DGPS System
2. Single Beam Echosounder with side scan sonar
3. Multibeam Echosounder
4. Roll, Pitch and Heave Sensor
5. Current Meter
6. Magnetometer
7. Sub-bottom profiler
8. Hydrographic software Hypack
9. RTG with remote display
Tebma had signed this contract for construction and supply of 2 Nos. Survey Launches. With Dredging Corporation of India, Visakhapatnam in October 2007.
