Tebma Shipyards Ltd is proud to be associated with Austal ships for the design, construction, supply and support of Aluminium construction fast patrol Boats. An MOU was signed with Austal on December 11, 2008. Austal & Tebma will work together in securing projects both commercial or military/naval within India, for Indian customers or for export. Currently, the Tebma - Austal Team has bid for the prestigious Indian Coast Guard project for 36 Nos. high speed interceptor boats. These boats will be fully designed and engineered by Austal.
Austal commenced operations in 1988 with a vision to build high quality commercial vessels for the international market. By the company's fifth anniversary, Austal had become the world's leading manufacturer of 40 metre passenger catamarans and the dominant supplier to Asia.
Austal is a world leader in construction of Aluminium hull vessels and have their yards in Australia and the United States serving various Military and Naval requirements around the world. This once again emphasises Tebma’s belief in emerging as a leader in various shipbuilding businesses and settle for nothing less than the best.

Tebma has an agreement with M/S Central Industry Group, Netherlands for setting up a state of the art, computerized automatic plate nesting and cutting shop at Hungerkatta.
CNC machines have been installed.
